Gas boiler installation on Long Island
Replacing an old gas boiler, or thinking about switching from oil? We'll look at your home and give you a free, no-obligation written estimate.
Replacing a gas boiler
If your gas boiler is old, needs repairs often, or can't keep up, we'll check the boiler, venting and your hot water setup and explain your options. If a repair or tune-up makes more sense, we'll say so.
Switching from oil to gas: what to know first
- Gas service comes first. Contact National Grid to find out whether gas is on your street and what it takes to bring a line to the house.
- Think about hot water. Many homes get hot water from the boiler, so we plan that part too.
- Your oil tank. If you switch, ask us what to do with the old tank.
Staying with oil is fine too
A new, well-tuned oil boiler is a solid choice for many Long Island homes. We will give you honest numbers either way. See oil boiler replacement.

Questions people ask
Do you install gas boilers as well as oil?
Yes. We give free estimates on new gas boilers and also service gas boilers. Ask about a service contract for yearly maintenance.
I have oil now. Can I switch to gas?
Possibly. First you need gas service to the house, which you request from National Grid. Once you know gas is available, we can estimate the boiler side of the job.
Are there rebates for new gas equipment?
Programs change often, so we do not promise any rebate. Check with National Grid and NY state programs before you decide.
Is the estimate free?
Yes. The visit and the written proposal are free, and there is no obligation.
