How it works
- We estimate your year. We look at your past usage, or your home's size and equipment if you're new to us.
- We set an even monthly amount. We confirm the amount and the plan year dates with you by phone before anything starts.
- Your oil keeps coming. Budget customers are usually on automatic delivery, so you don't have to watch the gauge, and you're near the front of the line in cold snaps.
- We settle up at the end of the plan year. Paid more than you used? We credit or refund the difference as agreed. Paid less? The balance is due as agreed.
What the budget plan is, and what it isn't
- It is a way to even out your payments so winter bills don't land all at once.
- It isn't a locked price. Each delivery is charged at the price for that delivery. If prices or your usage change a lot, we may review your monthly amount, and we tell you before any change.
- It isn't required to buy oil from us. You can always order heating oil online or call when you need it, with a 25-gallon minimum.

Questions
How does the heating oil budget plan work?
You pay the same amount every month instead of big bills in January and February. We estimate your yearly oil cost from your past usage (or your home's size and equipment if you're new), divide it into monthly payments for the plan year, and settle up at the end of the plan year.
Is the budget plan a fixed price per gallon?
No. It evens out your payments, not the price. Each delivery is charged against your budget account at the price for that delivery. If oil prices or your usage change a lot during the year, we may review your monthly amount, and we tell you before any change.
How much is the monthly payment?
It depends on your home and your usage. We work it out with you and confirm the monthly amount and plan year dates by phone before the plan starts. Call 631-264-8800 for details.
What happens at the end of the plan year?
We compare what you paid with what was delivered. If you paid more, we credit or refund the difference as we agree with you. If you paid less, the balance is due as we agree with you.
Do I have to be on automatic delivery?
Budget-plan customers usually get their oil on automatic delivery, unless we agree otherwise. That also puts you near the front of the line in cold snaps.
I'm on a fixed income. Can I use HEAP too?

What if I miss a payment?
We contact you. We may pause deliveries on credit until the account is up to date, but we always talk to you first if you are without heat.
Can I cancel?
Contact us to change or cancel. Any balance owed or credit due is settled when the plan ends.
